The Office of the Vice-President (Research and International) at Carleton University has launched a search for a full-time Executive Director to take Carleton’s recently launched living lab, 1125@Carleton, into the next phase of its aggressive growth strategy.
Launched in November of 2013, 1125@Carleton facilitates the co-development and deployment of solutions for sustainable communities on a global scale.
1125@Carleton fosters new and strengthens existing partnerships between industry, the public sector, not-for-profits, and Carleton researchers and students from all Faculties. It co-develops and deploys solutions for sustainable communities worldwide.
1125@Carleton is seeking a dynamic, experienced leader who brings an understanding of collaboration and innovation to this new initiative at Carleton University.

Following the successful launch of 1125, the Vice-President (Research and International) would like to thank Tessa Hebb, Director of the Carleton Centre for Community Innovation (3ci), for her leadership in setting up the living lab and developing its initial framework. Effective January 15th, she returns to the helm of 3ci — a founding partner of 1125@Carleton — on a full-time basis and will remain active within the governance of 1125@Carleton as a member of the Strategic Advisory Committee and will continue to lead the 3ci projects being conducted in partnership with 1125.
