The Impact Measurement Working Group of the Social Impact Investing Taskforce Launches Report and Guidelines
The Impact Measurement Working Group of the Social Impact Investing Taskforce, established by the G8, recently launched Measuring Impact, a report highlighting key recommendations for the future of impact measurement. The report was launched in conjunction with the overarching Social Impact Investment Taskforce report, the culmination of a year-long international collaboration aimed at informing the evolution of the impact investing industry. This release from the Impact Measurement Working Group includes seven practical guidelines for good impact measurement, as well as five case studies of impact investment organizations that have successfully put these guidelines to use. The Impact Measurement Working Group report, guidelines, and case studies, as well as the final report of the Social Impact Investment Taskforce are accessible online at www.socialimpactinvestment.org.
RII Partners release Canada’s National Advisory Report on Impact Investing
Impact investing in Canada is on the rise, but it will require leadership from governments, foundations, pension funds, entrepreneurs, non-profit organizations (NPOs) and others to reach its full potential. This report advances priority recommendations for governments—the federal government in particular—to enable and catalyze impact investment in Canada.
Building Impact Investment Readiness – A new approach to unlocking institutional investments globally

News from the University of Oxford Impact Investing Conference
Tessa Hebb presented her RII work on impact investing at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, University of Oxford Impact Investing Conference. Hosted by Oxford University and the Global Projects Group at Stanford University on June 5th and 6th 2014, this conference brought together leading responsible investment experts and impact investing experts for a lively discussion of impact investing and its potential for institutional investors. State of the Nation: Impact Investing Report
