Join Kevin Barwin, President of HRPA, as he introduces and interviews a panel of HR leaders from different areas of Human Resources. Each speaker will share stories of their career trajectories, the roles they have played in the field of HR, and their insights about the profession for those interested in learning more about a career in Human Resources. Info booths will be available for you to have your resume reviewed; learn more about interviewing tips and tricks; and discover the value of having a mentor. Whether you have already decided on a specific area to specialize, want to learn more about other functions within HR or want to network with professionals within the field, you will gain valuable insights at our Career Expo!
Learning Outcomes:
• Hear from HR leaders about the different roles and functions that HR plays in businesses
• Learn about different career opportunities available within the HR profession
• Have your resume reviewed by seasoned recruiting professionals
• Connect with the HRPA Mentoring and Student Outreach Committees
• Learn more about the HRPA Designation and Certification

Career Services will be sending 10 students to the HR Career Expo 2017. If you are interested in attending this event, please submit an entry by sending us an email explaining why you’re interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources and an up-to-date resume and if you’re selected, we’ll pay for you to go to the HR Career Expo 2017!
