DEMOCRACY is a documentary on the making of the European Union’s new data protection legislation, agreed in 2015. The film follows Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Jan Philipp Albrecht and former EU Commissioner Viviane Reding during the legislative process. It brings complex power structures to life and offers a snapshot of EU-level democracy today. Please watch the trailer here.
