Carleton University’s Department of Geography and Environmental Studies, Centre for European Studies and the British High Commission have the pleasure of inviting you to a reception and the Canadian Launch of the new book Coping with Global Environmental Change, Disasters, and Security.
This policy-focused Global Environmental and Human Security Handbook by European and international researchers addresses new security threats, challenges, vulnerabilities and risks posed by global environmental change and disasters to Europe, its neighbors, and countries round the world.
Statements by two of the book’s editors and a contributor will be followed by an open round-table discussion.
