Leslie Pal and CGPM helped organize and co-sponsor an authors’ workshop on February 22-23, 2016 at the University of Strasbourg for a forthcoming book. The event was held at the Maison Interuniversitaire des Sciences de l’Homme – Alsace. The book is a comparative analysis of policy transfer among nations and jurisdictions, with a special focus on micro-dynamics and their macro-effects. Authors from Europe, Brazil, Australia, and Turkey participated in the event. The various chapters examined different dimensions of governance and public management issues in the European Union, but with comparative examples drawn from Australia, South America, and Africa. The co-editors of the book are Leslie Pal, Magdaléna Hadjiisky (Université de Strasbourg), and Christopher Walker (University of New South Wales). The book will be published by Edward Elgar in 2017.
