There is a month left for this exciting opportunity. This a second, and informal reminder, that the Carleton University-São Paolo Public Science Funding Foundation (FAPESP) opportunity closes 31 October. This is an exciting opportunity made possible by Carleton University’s OVPRI agreeing to sponsor 4 collaboration projects (each worth $10,000 and FAPESP will sponsor their project recipients with the same amount). The competition is internal to Carleton University and FAPESP.

It is important to note that FAPESP provides supplemental funds to ongoing projects to support internationalization of the research. Browse the database of funded projects to find eligible counterparts. There is an expectation that the exchange will be reciprocal, i.e. peers of equal status. Also, that this initial collaboration will lead to further larger consortium proposals. As the forms need several signatures from the FAPESP PIs and or co-PIs, please start this process early.
