The foundation supports large research programs in Biodiversity, Bioenergy, Global Climate Change, and Neuroscience.
FAPESP also is involved currently in a call for proposals with the Trans-Atlantic Platform, an international collaboration among key humanities and social science funders that is accepting proposals for a “Digging into Data Challenge”.
FAPESP works across a broad range of countries and agencies including the UK Research Councils, the Agence Nationale de Recherche (ANR) in France, the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) in Germany, and National Science Foundation in the United States.
FAPESP offers many programs to support foreign scholars interested in working in the research institutions in the state of São Paulo, including: Postdoctoral Fellowships, Young Investigator Awards, and Visiting Researcher Grants.
