As a service within the Office of the Vice-President of Research and International (OVPRI), the Carleton Office for Research Initiatives and Services (CORIS), in collaboration with the Faculty Research Offices, supports the Carleton research community in:
– Identifying research funding opportunities (grants and honours & distinctions)
– Strengthening grantsmanship through strategic advice and substantive review
– Facilitating post-award processes, including transfer of funds (sub-awards)
– Accessing and using cuResearch (our awards management system)

Dr. Yuhong Guo, Professor and Canada Research Chair in the School of Computer Science, was named to the CIFAR Artificial Intelligence (AI) Chairs Program.
Dr. Mark Boulay, Professor in the Department of Physics, has been awarded Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI-IF) funding for his work at the SNOLAB in Sudbury.
Dr. Robert Slater, Adjunct Professor in the School of Public Policy, won the Exceptional Contribution Award from the Canadian Science Policy Centre.
