Carleton University will turn 75 in 2017. To help celebrate this wonderful anniversary, the University is publishing a book of 75 photographs from our Archives that have personal meaning to our community. These 75 photos have been chosen from over 60,000 in our Archives.
Each photo will be accompanied by a personal reflection and we are reaching out to ask if you would like to contribute a reflection for this book. Each reflection can be as brief as a few sentences or as long as 350 words. You do not need to know information related to the photo such as dates or names. All we want is your reaction to the photo – what memories it brings back to you of your time at Carleton and/or what meaning or significance it has for you.
You also don’t need to have been a student, professor or employee here. We want thoughts from our entire community – our Ottawa South neighbours, our local, regional, national and international partners, families of our students, contractors and suppliers to the university, donors and benefactors – all contributions are welcome.
The photos themselves can be seen online at this link and they are numbered 1 to 75. To help you submit the reflection, please complete the form below.
Please send us your thoughts on the photos, your own reflections, or suggestions for other individuals who might like to submit a reflection.
We really appreciate your help and look forward to producing a truly memorable and inspiring photographic reflection of Carleton University.
