Two of CURE’s research team members, Lee-Michael Pronko and Luisa Ji, have recently won a contract with the City of Guelph to put in place a mobile and web application that connects citizens, city officials and developers for better planning decisions.

The application called Milieu, will be rolled out in Guelph over the next few months. Milieu’s proposal was selected among many others through an RFP process organized by the City of Guelph. The contest kicked off the launch of the Civic Accelerator pilot project that aims at promoting innovation and entrepreneurship to tackle urban challenges in the city.
