The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada announced the results for the 2016 Partnership Grants. The Indigenous Youth Futures Partnership was successfully awarded $2.5M over 7 years. This program of work is in partnership with First Nations organizations and communities in Northwestern Ontario to create the conditions for their youth to flourish. As Matheson is the academic lead, this project will form the basis of much of the work being done in the Social Diversity lab. Read more here.
