EURUS Professors Jeff Sahadeo and Piotr Dutkiewicz offered their analysis to CBC regarding Canada’s rhetoric and military contribution to a NATO request to help stabilize the situation in Ukraine. Prof. Sahadeo comments that the Canadian government’s messages to Russia reinforce the idea that Russia is demonized by the West while Prof. Dutkiewicz says a more balanced negotiation is needed to stabilize the region.
