EURUS is a community of active researchers. EURUS faculty members spend a lot of time working on their research initiatives in Europe, Russia and Eurasia, and mentor undergraduate and graduate students on their own research projects. They have been successful in winning major Canadian and international research grants.

EURUS houses, or is affiliated with, numerous research centers and projects Carleton University. These include the Centre for European Studies (CES), the Canada-Europe Transatlantic Dialogue (CETD), the Jean Monnet Chair in EU Relations with Russia and the Eastern Neighbourhood, the Jean Monnet Chair Democracy in the European Union, the Centre for Governance and Public Management (CGPM), as well as the Migration and Diaspora Studies Initiative (MDS).

More information on each initiative can be accessed by clicking on the centre and project titles above, and via the Research Units main menu. EURUS faculty participate within these units, in addition to conducting their own research projects and independent research affiliations, which are described under faculty profiles.
