Film Studies at Carleton has just launched a year-long crowdfunding campaign on FutureFunder. We are looking to fund a new scholarship to honour the memory of Adrian Sheppard.
Adrian Sheppard passed away in a tragic accident shortly before he was to begin the Masters program in Film Studies at Carleton University. Adrian, who had recently competed his B.A. in Film Studies at Carleton, was a young man full of promise, with a passion for the cinema, and a thirst for knowledge.
We are raising funds for the Adrian Sheppard Memorial Scholarship in Film Studies. The scholarship is intended to help promising Film Studies students at Carleton, in their final year of the B.A., who have been accepted into the M.A. program. It is meant to reward students who demonstrate academic achievement, enthusiasm, generosity, and who regularly contribute to a positive atmosphere in the classroom.
