In addition to Scholarships awarded by the University, undergraduate film students are also eligible for the Ottawa Film Society Scholarship, granted every year to our most promising young scholar. Our graduate students can apply for the Pratley Award given each year by the Film Studies Association of Canada. Graduate students are also eligible for positions as teaching assistants, which provides them with a revenue and valuable pedagogical experience.
Furthermore, individual faculty members regularly hire graduate students as research assistants.
