Waste Streams
At Carleton, there are three main recycling streams. The first stream is called mixed containers and is comprised of glass, metal and plastic containers. The second is mixed paper, and the third contains only corrugated cardboard. It is essential that none of the three streams get mixed otherwise good recyclables will get sent to the landfill. Below there is a detailed list of what materials go into which stream.
