Navigating around a new city can be a challenge, but Carleton has convenient transportation options that will get you all around Ottawa and beyond.
OC Transpo and the O-Train
OC Transpo is the transit provider for the Ottawa area. Campus is serviced by three main bus routes (4, 7, 111) as well as the O-Train, a light rail train. Use OC Transpo’s travel planner or simply check online for route schedules and stop times.
Train Station
The Via Rail station is a 15 minute drive from campus and a 20-25 minutes bus ride.
Greyhound Bus
The Greyhound bus station is a 10 minute drive or a 15 minutes bus ride. Greyhound tickets are available at the RRRA office!
Airport
Located in the south of Ottawa, the airport is a 15 minute drive from Carleton or a 20 minute bus ride.
International Students: The International Student Support Office offers an Airport Welcome Program.
