Biography
Frances has taught Economics at Carleton University since 1990. Her research centres on families and public policy, including the modelling of family-decision making, measuring inequality within the household, feminist economics, and tax-benefit policy towards families. Recently she has devoted more time to her blog, Worthwhile Canadian Initiative, and to writing for the Globe and Mail.
