Simon is currently a Ph.D. student in Psychology at Carleton University. He received his B.A. (Hons) in Criminology from Carleton University in 2007, and his M.A. in Sociology with a Quantitative Concentration from Carleton University in 2014. Simon has been an employee of the RCMP since 2007. Simon’s research interests include police use of force, the effects of critical incident stress, critical incident decision-making, Excited Delirium Syndrome, evidence-based policy, training and equipment.
