Susan is currently working towards her Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr. Evelyn Maeder in the Legal Decision-Making Lab. She completed her B.A. Honours in psychology with a minor in philosophy at the University of Manitoba with Dr. Steve Hladkyj, and her Master of Arts at Carleton with Dr. Maeder. Susan’s main area of focus is punishment orientation and the Not Criminally Responsible on Account of Mental Disorder defence. Her other research interests include attributions, the cultural defence, and ethnocentric attitudes in the courtroom.
