The Responsible Gambling Council is bringing Know the Score 2 (kts2) — an interactive problem gambling awareness program to [insert campus name].
Know the Score 2 was created specifically for college and university students in response to studies showing that young adults are at a higher risk of developing a gambling problem. kts2 is bringing awareness messages to campus to help prevent problems from possibly developing.
Know the Score:
- dispels myths about of winning and losing
- highlights signs of problem gambling
- shares problem gambling services and,
- suggests ways to keep gambling safer
Come by the display on Monday, January 16 and Tuesday, January 17 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm in the Galleria, 4th Floor, Unicentre (Table 9) on both days. In addition we will set up an evening display on Monday, January 16 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm in the Foyer of Residence Commons. to learn something new, ask questions from the friendly student staff and test your knowledge with a quick 6-question quiz!
For taking the time to answer the quiz correctly, you will be automatically entered into the $1500 scholarship award draw and become eligible for a free pair of Beats by Dre wireless studio headphones!
