The History Graduate Students’ Association has a vibrant and active presence in Carleton’s History Department. Entirely student run, the HGSA aims to create a strong sense of community among all history graduate students. During the academic year, the HGSA organizes a number of fun and rewarding activities. With social events like Welcome Week, hiking trips to Gatineau Park in the fall, and Rock Social in the spring, as well as academic events like the Living Room Lecture Series, theory study groups, and brown bag lunch discussions, the HGSA helps you make the most out of graduate student life at Carleton.

Check out the HGSA’s Facebook page or Twitter feed for more about us and to follow news, updates and events.
