Congratulations to Ms. Roxana-Maria Barbu.
The title of her MCogSc thesis is “Verbs and participants: Non linguists’ intuitions”.
Ms. Barbu’s research is very interesting and a true contribution to the field. Her work will help us better understand the mapping between semantics and syntax.
The committee was made up of Dr. Ida Toivonen, Dr. John Logan and Dr. Raj Singh. The examiner was Professor Dana Isac. Dr. Ash Asudeh chaired.
