About the course

The making of public policy for a country as large, populous and diverse as India is intrinsically a more complex task than in a smaller political unit. This makes a study of the institutions which make policy all the more important.

As a federal structure, public policy in India is made at three levels–Central, State and Local. This course provides a high-level overview of the different roles each level of government plays and how they differ from Canadian policy-making processes.
