Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Sensors and Data Analytics Centre
Under the leadership of Dean Rafik Goubran, Ph.D., P.Eng, Fellow IEEE, Fellow CAE, the Infrastructure Resilience Research Group (IRRG) has established a UAV program to carry out research and develop on the use of recreational and commercial UAVs and the threats they present to critical infrastructure facilities.
The research focus includes:
- Sensors and analytics
- Integration and risk management: monitoring and surveillance
- Classification and detection
- Data processing algorithms
- Interdisciplinary research
