Phil completed his B.Sc. in Biology at the University of Ottawa in 2017, and has since started an M.Sc. in Zoology at the University of British Columbia. His primary involvement in the Jewish community as been through youth engagement, and at different points has been a Music Specialist at URJ Camp George (2012-13), the Communications Manager for URJ Kutz Camp (2017), and currently serves as both a Youth Advisor and Songleader for Temple Sholom, in Vancouver.
Phil joined the ZC in the fall of 2016 as the Communications Coordinator and Webmaster, through the DFL program. Phil oversees all ZC social media communication and outreach, as well as modifications and updates for the Zelikovitz Center website.
