The International Steering Committee (ISC) is the Metropolis Project’s principal decision-making body. It meets twice annually and takes major policy decisions by consensus, wherever possible, and by membership vote where necessary. The ISC sanctions the overall strategic directions of Metropolis and advises the Co-chairs, the International Secretariat (SEC) and the annual conference organizers on their work programs. The ISC is not responsible for day to day decisions but delegates these to the co-chairs and the SEC. ISC members are expected to be available for consultations by the SEC or the Co-chairs.
