Master’s Thesis: A neuropsychological model of Dyscalculia and Dyslexia in children and adultsThis research study aimed to build a neuropsychological model of dyslexia and dyscalculia co-morbidity, combining data from neuropsychological tests with evidence from neuroimaging research to help clinicians identify the neurological and cognitive sources of comorbidity. We are investigating the impairment of short-term working memory and its impact on performance on phonological and mathematical tasks. |
Distinguishing Arousal, Valence, Attention and Load for Brain-Computer Interfaces: A Pilot StudyThis pilot study compared the level of precision of two different electroencephalography (EEG) systems in distinguishing between emotional and cognitive brain states. Preliminary findings indicate that the Emotiv EPOCTM (14-electrode) EEG System can distinguish between high and low emotional states but at a much lower resolution than Brain VisionTM (32-electrode) EEG system. |
