Dear Members of the Carleton Community,
I am proud to announce that Carleton University will receive three certifications from Excellence Canada – Platinum Level in Healthy Workplace and Silver Level in Mental Health at Work (campus-wide initiatives), as well as Gold Level in Excellence, Innovation and Wellness (Finance and Administration division).
We are the first post-secondary institution in Canada to achieve all three accomplishments and this is a proud moment for us. This is formal recognition of Carleton’s commitment to continuous improvement and dedication to providing a safe, healthy and supportive work environment on our campus.
The awards will be presented on Thursday, Nov. 9 at the Performance Excellence Summit and Canada Awards for Excellence in Toronto.
Special congratulations should be extended to Michel Piché, Ed Kane and Cindy Taylor for their leadership in this process.
