Research Interests

Trained initially as an experimental cognitive psychologist, my current research interests are in health psychology. One long-standing interest is individual difference factors (e.g., attachment style, Conscientiousness) associated with physical health, health behaviours, and coping with medical problems and seeking treatment for them. A more recent interest is singing, health and well-being.

Please note that Dr. Gick retired July 1, 2018.
