Congratulations to BMEE undergraduate student George Hanna who won 1st prize in the Student Paper Competition at the IEEE EMBS International Student Conference here at Carleton University for his paper Evaluation of a T1 Mapping Technique for Stratifying Patient Risk: A Preliminary Study using Computer Simulations of Cardiac Electrophysiology.

SCE graduate student Bradley Barnes won 3rd prize in the same competition for his paper entitled Predicting Novel Protein-Protein Interactions Between the HIV-1 Virus and Homo Sapiens.
