PhD student Rawan Alkurd has been awarded one of the two prestigious Vanier Awards won by graduate students at Carleton University this year. The award is worth $50,000 per year for up to three years. Rawan is working on millimetre wave communications with Prof. Halim Yanikomeroglu. See the Carleton announcement about the award.
