CUHacking, held at Carleton University on the weekend of March 4th-5th, was the first Major League Hacking hackathon in Ottawa. Organized by IEEE Carleton Student Branch, it was the largest hackathon held in Ottawa with over 800 applicants. 250 students were accepted to attend the event which included students from Carleton University, University of Ottawa, University of British Columbia, University of Waterloo, McGill University, and many more. For 24 hours teams of students worked on innovative engineering projects and tackled challenges posed by company sponsors. Prizes included gift cards, new tech devices, and even interviews at tech companies!
