Jordan joined the SESL team as an undergraduate in his third year of Aerospace Engineering at Carleton University. He assisted graduate students with various aspects of their projects such as data acquisition, instrumentation, design, and construction. His full time and part time work in our laboratory lead to his own project on Adsorption Cooling, which resulted in a publication. This project lead into his masters research.

His masters research focuses on the feasibility of solar adsorption cooling for residential applications across Canada. Jordan’s work uses results from both an experimental setup and simulated model. The main focus of his research is the reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and potential economic benefit that could be provided to the consumer by switching to solar adsorption cooling.

Along with the research that Jordan conducts in the lab, he also serves the roll as local Information Technology Specialist.
