Carleton’s MJ Video Documentary instructor Christopher Redmond has launched Ottawa’s brand new community TV channel on Bell Fibe.
As Senior Producer, Redmond oversees the production of all English and French access programming for TV1 in the city. The video-on-demand channel (similar to Netflix in navigation) is dedicated solely to community-based content, with original series’ that explore food, entertainment, sports, people and places in Ottawa.
TV1 is now available commercial-free to all Bell Fibe TV customers on channel 1.
Redmond is a Carleton BJ graduate (2006) and was one of the first participants in Carleton’s Rwanda Initiative. Shortly after, he co-founded the Burundi Film Center in East Africa and was nominated as one of Canada’s Top 50 Champions of Change by the CBC.
