Joshua Horton

Biography

Josh Horton comes to Ottawa from Sydney, Nova Scotia, where he completed his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Communication at Cape Breton University. Josh’s research interests involve social media, communication technologies, the publishing industry, politics, and issues affecting the LGBTQ community. His thesis research involves identity formation in young adult novels with transgender characters. In his free time, Josh enjoys drinking tea or coffee and reading past his bedtime. He also runs a blog called Queering the Mainstream, where he writes about LGBTQ issues and book reviews.
