Carleton is in the process of developing its inaugural Strategic Plan for Community Engagement (SP4CE). This process was announced at the official launch of Carleton’s Centre for Community Engagement in October 2021. The Centre was established to support the value and practice of community engagement, a priority highlighted in Carleton’s Strategic Integrated Plan.

One of the Centre’s priorities is to lead the development of an institutional strategic plan focused on community engagement. The Centre has engaged a collaborative task force co-chaired by Chantal Trudel, Director, Centre for Community Engagement; Katherine Graham, Dean Emerita, Faculty of Public Affairs; and Nancy Arnold, Director, Office of Quality Initiatives to support this process. Catherine Khordoc, Deputy Provost (Academic Operations and Planning) is the Executive Sponsor of the Task Force.
