Born Social believes in the ability of our youth to lead a more just and sustainable world by activating leaders with ideas that, from inception, are driven by the impact that they will have on the world.

In response to the emerging need for a new kind of leader, 1125@Carleton has partnered with RECODEImpact Hub Ottawa and CUSA to offer the Born Social Fellowship, a unique leadership development program that will activate a new generation of globally-orientated and socially minded leaders to amplify social impact in Canada and around the world.

The Born Social Fellowship will provide 10 selected Carleton students the opportunity to participate in a four-month (January to April 2016), hands-on learning experience that applies their skill development directly to civic issues facing our community, provides local and global connections, as well as professional field experiences; and peer support that will enable Fellows to incubate world-changing social enterprises.
