Joshua Gladstone is a doctoral candidate in the School of Public Policy and Administration at Carleton University where he is researching human and political development in Canada\u2019s northern communities. Broadly speaking, his interests lie in understanding how Western and Indigenous approaches to knowledge creation can inform major public policy questions for Aboriginal people, including land claims implementation and sustainable development policy.\u00a0 He is currently research assistant to\u00a0 Professor Frances Abele on projects focused on the northern economy, responsible investing, and political communication in northern communities.
