As provincial governments across Canada prepare to roll out carbon tax programs and federal infrastructure funding programs align with the mandate of the current government, it is anticipated that, going forward, infrastructure projects will need to demonstrate their long-term approach to sustainability. Projects will need to quantify not only financial costs but also environmental and social costs and benefits to the community as well.<\/p>\n
