It is with sadness that we share the news that, earlier this week, Sherman Kreiner passed away, after a long illness.<\/p>\n

The founding Managing Director of the University of Winnipeg Community Renewal Corporation, Sherman led a life of courage, commitment and creativity, making deep and wide impacts in many fields, including community economic development, social enterprise, sustainable construction, affordable housing, worker investment funds, worker ownership, and community\u2014campus partnerships.<\/p>\n

We were lucky to have him join our CCEC webinar in the spring, where his insights and innovations shone through yet again.<\/p>\n
