After these deadlines, formal permission from the Registrar\u2019s Office is needed for all course changes other than withdrawal.<\/p>\n<p>Please:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Do not encourage unregistered students to remain in a class after the last day for the course changes.<\/li>\n<li>Do not accept or grade any work from students who are not registered in your specific class and section.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"slideme\"><dl class=\"slideme__list\"><dt class=\"slideme__term\"><a href=\"#slideme-late-course-registration\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"slideme-late-course-registration\" class=\"slideme__heading slideme__trigger\">Late Course Registration<\/a><\/dt><dd class=\"slideme__description\" id=\"slideme-late-course-registration\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><p><br \/>\nStudents must petition the Registrar\u2019s Office for <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/registrar\/petition\/#slideme-registration-petitions'\">late registration<\/a>. Late registration will only be approved if it is supported by the Department and the Instructor. <\/p><\/dd><dl><\/div>\n<div class=\"slideme\"><dl class=\"slideme__list\"><dt class=\"slideme__term\"><a href=\"#slideme-registration-in-conflict\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"slideme-registration-in-conflict\" class=\"slideme__heading slideme__trigger\">Registration in Conflict<\/a><\/dt><dd class=\"slideme__description\" id=\"slideme-registration-in-conflict\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><p><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/calendar.carleton.ca\/undergrad\/regulations\/academicregulationsoftheuniversity\/registration-evaluation-records\/#permission-to-register\">Article 2.1.3<\/a> of the Undergraduate Academic Regulations state that students \u201care not permitted to register in course timetable conflicts.\u201d Students seeking an exemption from this rule must contact the Registrar\u2019s Office for assistance. <\/p><\/dd><dl><\/div>\n<div class=\"slideme\"><dl class=\"slideme__list\"><dt class=\"slideme__term\"><a href=\"#slideme-class-lists\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"slideme-class-lists\" class=\"slideme__heading slideme__trigger\">Class Lists<\/a><\/dt><dd class=\"slideme__description\" id=\"slideme-class-lists\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><p><\/p>\n<p>The list of registered students for your course is available on Brightspace and in Carleton Central. The class list in Carleton Central includes a class photo roster.<\/p>\n<p><\/p><\/dd><dl><\/div>\n<div class=\"slideme\"><dl class=\"slideme__list\"><dt class=\"slideme__term\"><a href=\"#slideme-e-mail-communication\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"slideme-e-mail-communication\" class=\"slideme__heading slideme__trigger\">E-Mail Communication<\/a><\/dt><dd class=\"slideme__description\" id=\"slideme-e-mail-communication\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><p><\/p>\n<p>Instructors and students must use their Carleton email account for all University business.
