Request for Course Outlines (Winter 2021)

Dates

Please email your course outlines to Elise.Durand@Carleton.ca for Winter 2021 no later than Monday, December 14th.

Please note that they need to be sent to the Director for approval first before they are posted publicly or on our website. As stated in the Undergraduate Calendar, Syllabi must be available to registered students no later than January 4th for Winter 2021 courses. Please note that the University will be closed December 24-Jan 5th.

Academic Dates and Deadlines show all the relevant dates and deadlines for the Winter term. Please note that courses will resume on January 11, 2021 and will conclude April 14, 2021. Wednesday, April 14 will follow a Friday schedule. Here is a simplified outline of all relevant teaching days.

Regulations

You do not need to include many regulations common to the University. The Art & Architectural History Policies 2020-2021 (.Docx) will be added at the end of your outline before it is posted.

Please refer to the FASS Teaching Regulations 2020-21 (PDF) for this year.  This section is very important (4.2.2): All tests and examinations (excepting laboratory examinations, oral and slide tests) are subject to the following Scheduling Rules, as set out in the undergraduate calendar: **NEW for this academic year, issues specific to online/remote delivery to include as you prepare your outlines for this year.
