Late summer 2017 will mark the seventh year the School of Linguistics and Language Studies and the Centre for Aboriginal Culture and Education partner to offer “Introduction to Anishinaabemowin” using a community classroom model. As a language revitalization initiative, members of the Indigenous community in Ottawa are invited to register to study Anishinaabemowin (Ojibwe) alongside Carleton University students for no credit and at no cost.
Carleton University students must register through the regular channels on Carleton Central.
To apply as a Community Member Student, download and complete the sponsorship application and submit it to the Centre for Aboriginal Culture and Education using one of the following methods:
