I recently graduated from Carleton with a Bachelor of Arts Honours in African Studies and Film Studies. My experiences from living in four different countries set off an interest in social impact and an appreciation for our capacity to work together to improve the well-being of communities around us. I am proud to be working as the Educational Development Support Assistant on the Tanzania Project that aims to train and support teachers working with students with disabilities. This project has prompted me to reflect on inclusivity, accessibility and the real-life barriers that can stand in the way of equal opportunity. I aim to continue working in the social impact space, through local and international initiatives that envision a better world for all.
