The ACE Lab was busy at\u00a0OCE Discovery as conference goers were eager to see and try what was on display. In a herculean effort the lab transported two simulation systems and two Virtual Reality Cognitive Psychology experiment stations to the show. The Bell 206 Helicopter simulator showcased the incredibly detailed scene imagery that is required for low altitude maneuvers. The AlphaJet Part-task Trainer highlighted the role of Virtual Reality in simulation as co-pilots wearing the new Oculus Rift were taken for an often aerobatic flight around Ohau, Hawaii.\u00a0The experiment stations highlighted areas of research that are essential to honing the Virtual Reality experience. The images below are glimpses of the\u00a0ACE Lab team at work with these simulators and conference attendees.<\/p>\n
