My name is Fiona Ross and I am a 4th year Mechanical Engineering Student from Queen’s University with an interest in Aviation Simulation. During my internship, I am assisting the ACE Lab on a project to create a Traffic Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) to incorporate into current simulation programs. This internship opportunity has taught me about collision avoidance regulations, the components that make up a simulation and some of the programming tools involved in building the simulation.
