Welcome to the Adolescent Development and Methodology Studies Lab website. The ADMS Lab is based in the Department of Psychology at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, and directed by Dr. Andrea Howard, an Assistant Professor of Developmental and Quantitative Psychology.

Research activities in the Lab focus on mental health, disruptive behaviours, and substance use during adolescence and the transition to adulthood, with an emphasis on novel methods for measurement and longitudinal data analysis to improve our understanding of these and other health-related developmental processes as they unfold over time.

For more detailed information, visit the People and Research pages to find out what kinds of specific studies we are working on.
