Meet the SPA Ambassadors

Nabiha Bilgrami (she/her)

In her role as the Outreach and Engagement Ambassador, Nabiha assists the SPA in building relationships with campus and community partners, organizing tabling and presentation initiatives, and implementing new outreach initiatives. She also supports the rest of the team with in-person and digital outreach.

Nabiha studies Law at Carleton, and in addition to being our SPA Outreach Ambassador, she is also involved with the CUSA Women’s Centre on campus as the coordinator.

Administration Ambassador

Ishanjeetkaur Khalsa (She/Her)

The Administration Ambassador is responsible for handling the day-to-day logistics of the Student Philanthropy Association. This includes noting and organizing weekly meeting minutes and agendas, streamlining campaign proposals and tasks, as well as ensuring all ambassadors are comfortably equipped in their positions.

Ishanjeetkaur is in the BGInS program here at Carleton with a specialization in global politics. She is well saturated within the Department of University Advancement and is in charge of organizing all administrative SPA initiatives while ensuring a smooth, successful campaign!

Strategic Communications Ambassador 

Imani Soje (she/her)

The Strategic Communications & Design and Branding Ambassadors oversee the development of digital and physical content to support SPA’s campaigns and goals. They are also responsible for overseeing the SPA social media portfolio, in addition to in-person outreach alongside the rest of the team.

Imani is in Communications at Carleton and pitches, drafts and edits the written content in our social media for SPA as well as keeping our social media active and engaged with Carleton Students in order to support SPA’s campaigns and goals.

Design and Branding Ambassador

Sudu Kapar (she/her)

The Strategic Communications & Design and Branding Ambassadors oversee the development of digital and physical content to support SPA’s campaigns and goals. They are also responsible for overseeing the SPA social media portfolio, in addition to in-person outreach alongside the rest of the team.

Sudu is in the BGInS program at Carleton and is our Design and Branding Ambassador for the Student Philanthropy Association. She designs our social media posts, as well as designs all our SPA swag that Carleton students will have the opportunity to get during our campaign.
